If you’re looking for Superman-related news or information on the Internet, one resource should be high on your list: The Superman Homepage. Founded in 1994 by Andrew J. Gould, and given to Steve Younis in 1996, the Homepage has become one of the premier Superman sites on the internet. It boasts near-daily news updates, information, contests, forums, podcasts and much, much more.
One of the podcasts the Homepage boasts is Radio KAL Live, one-hour, live, call-in show. Installments of the show feature fan discussion on recent comics and news, as well as occasional guests from across the Superman mythology.
This week’s episode featured author Brad Ricca, author of the upcoming biography, “Super Boys: The Amazing Adventures of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster — The Creators of Superman.” In the episode, Ricca shares the story of how the book came about, offers some details about his research and teases about the book’s contents — which are promised to include never-before-pubished details and background information about not just Siegel’s and Shuster’s most-famous creation, Superman, but all of their work.
Ricca’s book has been plugged multiple times here, and if you’re interested in it — which, if you’re reading this, why wouldn’t you be? — Ricca’s appearance on Radio KAL Live is a must-listen!
