Like clockwork, Billy Hogan returns with episode 278 of the Superman Fan Podcast!
Again, only one Jerry Siegel-written story on the agenda this time, but what a doozy it is.
“Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match! Find me a find! Catch me a catch!” In what might be among the unintentionally creepy Superman Family stories Siegel wrote, “Superman’s Super Courtship!” the Supergirl feature from ACTION COMICS #289 has the Maid of Might trying to find a super-wife for her super-cousin. The story also features appearances by members of the Legion of Super-Heroes!
I’m just hoping she’s not some sort of cousin of Kal-El. (I highly doubt the writers would intend that.)
