Time to play catch up on what’s been happening in the podcast world. A few weeks ago, Billy Hogan released episode 282 of the Superman Fan Podcast!
In the episode, Billy looks at SUPERMAN ANNUAL #5, reprinting “an all-star collection of stories featuring the Superman Family on Krypton!”
Unfortunately, as the annual came out less than a year after Jerry Siegel’s return to DC, only one Siegel-written story is included.
But, one always is better than none! Plus, it’s a story that has never been reprinted outside of the annual.
In the 8-page, George Papp-illustrated “The Invasion of Krypton!” Superboy learns that, as a baby on Krypton, he was given super-powers for a short time! I bet those sure will come in handy when the planet is invaded …
