This is a fun one. I read this for the first time a few years ago in the Showcase Presents volume. I’m a real fan of these early WF stories.
Man, I loves me some Dick Sprang artwork. He’s my favorite Batman artist, pre-Neal Adams, bar-none. I daresay he was the best of the Golden/early Silver Age Batman artists. And I agree, he was no slouch at Superman either. I get to wax on about Sprang some in our upcoming Super Mates Episode 3. And I could go on for days about him here, but I’ll spare you for now.
Once again, fantastic episode. I look forward to Wednesday to hear a new one! Keep it up!
Chris
