Michael,
I enjoy the feedback episodes and think three a year will do just fine. Thank you for reading my e-mail and comments! I thought you missed one of mine and that maybe WordPress didn’t alert you to my comment on the Batman Birthday Spectacular special episode, but then I checked and didn’t see it there. I might have e-mailed you with the subject line: Michael Bailey’s Beautiful, Brave, and Bold Batman Birthday Bash!, or something like that. If you never got it, I might go back to comment on that episode. One thing I asked for is if you would say all the places the story has been reprinted before your synopsis, so the listeners can track it down if they want to read it before your excellent coverage.
Congratulations to Earth 2 Chris and Spinx Magoo on your Haney awards! In my efforts to go above and beyond as a listener, I thought I would offer my suggestion for a new bit. “Meanwhile… On Earth-Prime”, where you give a fact or historical date from our world, and contrast it with the world in the episode you are covering. This is something you have done in the past, like when you gave the dates man went into space in the “Menace of the Moon-Man” episode. I always love that when you provide that context, educating your listeners. Thanks for the great podcast!
I probably used the contact link in your header. I noticed at the bottom it says comments are closed. Whoops! I wonder if it was closed when I sent that missive about the Batman Birthday Spectacular special episode? Anyway, I really enjoyed that one.
Matthew, I’ve dug through my email and the site comments here and don’t see anything from you about that episode. I’m sorry. I would’ve loved to have read it!
