I was surprised but also glad to hear that Shawn is a fan of Paul Pelletier! This comic was the first time where I saw his art and I absolutely loved his take on the characters, especially Lia! It made me an instant fan, needless to say. In fact, if there was one Lia artist I would pick to do the art duties on a future Tangent Flash comic once again, it would be Pelletier. The way I figure, between Lolita Lia from Gary Frank and Cute Bubbly Teen Lia from Pelletier, the choice should be more than obvious. (And I don’t sliiiiightly mind Frank’s art, so um yeah.)
Other than that, I am glad to see you guys pretty much hit all the important spots on this one. I was the one who commented on the other Flash episode with my very biased (possibly rude) fan insights, and I was happy hearing you guys say this comic was excellent and that you enjoyed it more than the first one! The back matter for this comic is a bit frustrating because Dezago let slip a detail that we might have seen developed even more, had there been a third wave of Tangent. Heck, maybe even an answer as to why Lia was undercover in her father’s team in the first place! (And other questions).
P.S.
I realize this question comes about 14-15 episodes late, but what is the closing song? It’s really nice and as far as I know, this podcast is the only place where I’ve ever heard it!
