“This is gonna get ugly.”
Heroes of the DCU come face-to-face with a less-savory side of the Tangent Universe as the guys look at SUPERMAN’S REIGN #2. And if that weren’t enough, things really heat up when the Superman makes his presence known. Plus, a backup continues the history of the Tangent Universe as we get our first look at what happened after the second wave’s conclusion!

Chiming in on the Lia theories of her body not being her real body due to her light powers (forgive me for saying it so blah): while I am fascinated by the idea that, since the rain doesn’t seem to affect her hair, it might be light generating a ‘fake’ body–it contradicts a little her actual canon birth in her original run. There’s a panel where her mother Celeste is holding baby Lia and Lia looks like, well, how she’d look as a baby, blonde hair and all. So how would the theory work with that in mind?
Also, there is a panel where the rain does seem to affect Lia in terms of making her skin wet. There’s some squiggly lines going down her face when she looks like she’s about to cry. 😛 (I still think your theory is very interesting though. I hadn’t thought of that!)
