This episode, Michael looks at the Superman story story from ACTION COMICS #30! A snow-storm blankets the city of Metropolis… in mid-July?! What could be the cause? This is only the first of many questions tackled by Superman in this tale — including an end-of-the-story twist so shocking that you’ll never see it coming (and may wish you could un-see it once you do…)!

Clark Kent is sent on assignment to cover a professor’s fascinating new bathysphere as Michael looks at the 16th storyline from the Superman radio serial. But, there’s more more than anyone bargained for as harrowing danger, deadly pirates and baffling mystery all cross Superman’s path. Plus, Jimmy Olsen becomes the luckiest boy in the world when he gets his very first face-to-face meeting with a certain red-caped hero!

It’s another weird one folks, and you’ll never guess the ending, so buckle in and hang on tight! Also this episode, it’s the return of the Spotlight feature with a focus on painter H.J. Ward!

We won’t bury the lede, folks. It’s a weird one this time. This episode, Michael looks at the 15th storyline from the Superman radio serial. The Daily Planet’s star reporter, Clark Kent, flies to Central America at the request of an explorer and on the hunt for a hot story. What results is thievery, plunder, looting and more! And when Superman’s done with that, he finally gets around to accidentally saving the day! Well, kind of. Confused? Just wait ’til you hear it for yourself.
