The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 72 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

It’s the thrilling return of Jimmy Olsen as Michael looks at the 13th storyline from the Superman radio serial. Everyone’s favorite copy boy calls on Clark Kent to help him investigate a mystery at the home of his aunt, Louisa Horn, in a place called Lighthouse Point. But when Clark figures out that Louisa isn’t telling all she knows, a far-greater mystery lurks just around the corner, including smugglers and the location of some ancient Chinese jade!

The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 69 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

Return to the thrilling days of yesteryear as Michael looks at the 12th storyline from the Superman radio serial. An old friend of Lois’s is charged with running Happyland, the newest amusement park attraction. But when “Midway” Martin’s offer to buy the park is refused, he sets out to make Happyland a lot less happy… causing trouble for Lois and a job for Superman!

The Superman radio show, obviously, doesn’t allow for scans of images from the story. However, here is a look at a couple spot illustrations, that accompanied the text adaptation of the story in the August issues of Radio and Television Mirror, as well as a look at that issue’s cover. Art was likely done by members of the Shuster shop. Who penned the adaptations themselves, however, is not known.

The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 66 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

Michael is all by himself this time, but Superman’s thrilling adventures continue as Michael looks at episodes 58 through 63, the 11th storyline, of the Superman radio serial! Lois and Clark head out to report on a deadly explosion at the doll factory of Hans Holbein. But things turn dangerous when Lois is abducted and Superman finds something far more sinister behind the explosion!

The Superman radio show, obviously, doesn’t allow for scans of images from the story. The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 64 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

Michael is joined by Charlie Niemeyer for a look at episodes 52 through 57, the 10th storyline, of the Superman radio serial. Joan Alexander joins the show’s cast as everyone’s favorite girl reporter as Lois Lane and Clark Kent go to interview Lois’s strange uncle, Horace Morton, about his startlingly accurate weather predictions. But what they find is Lois’s uncle embroiled in something far more sinister, causing Superman to lend a hand!

The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 63 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

Clark Kent leads the search for three missing men as Michael is rejoined by Charlie Niemeyer for a look at the ninth storyline from the Superman radio serial. Forging ahead despite rumors of lost tribes and a mysterious, immortal witch doctor, Clark Kent leads the search for three missing men in the northern country of Esmerland! Superman’s there to lend a hand in the rescue, but things really turn strange when the true identity of the witch doctor is revealed — and someone’s not making it out alive!
