The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 87 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

Clark Kent accompanies Lois Lane to the nearby town of Brentville. They find the town is, literally, a sleepy little town as everyone who enters inexplicably is sent to Dreamland. Can the Daily Planet’s finest, with a little help from Superman, unravel the mystery? Find out as Michael looks at the Superman story from ACTION COMICS #31!

This episode, Michael looks at the Superman story story from ACTION COMICS #30! A snow-storm blankets the city of Metropolis… in mid-July?! What could be the cause? This is only the first of many questions tackled by Superman in this tale — including an end-of-the-story twist so shocking that you’ll never see it coming (and may wish you could un-see it once you do…)!

The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 70 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

A seemingly mundane incident is the catalyst for our story when Clark Kent interviews a recently successful businessman and finds him to be… bored. But, things make an upward turn as Superman takes on a dangerous new threat known only as “the Lamite” as Michael looks at the fifth storyline from the Sundays installments of the Superman newspaper strip. Beware of giant spiders.

The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 68 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

Michael is joined by Josh Bertone for a fun-fill romp through four brand new Superman adventures from SUPERMAN #6. The issue sees the Man of Steel taking on a variety of challenges as he attempts to clear Lois Lane’s name after she’s accused of murder, takes on racketeers and swindlers, and helps deliver aid to a earthquake-ravaged country. Plus, someone discovers that Superman and Clark Kent are one in the same. Can our hero stop the secret from getting out? All in a day’s work for Superman.

The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 62 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

Finally! It’s back to the Sunday newspaper strip as Michael looks at the fourth storyline. Unfortunately, it’s a sub-par story overall. But, the good news is, there’s plenty of the action, intrigue and insanity we’ve come to love in Superman’s Golden Age adventures, as Clark Kent and Lois Lane (and Superman!) set out to aid a relief fund for a war-stricken foreign nation.
